Farm Share food bank is hosting a Thanksgiving food distribution event on Saturday at FSCJ Downtown Campus. It starts at 8:30 a.m. at Lot #4, 101 W. State St., Jacksonville. On Tuesday, with Harps and NWA Food Bank's help, Sabrina's Wish Goshen Food Bank distributed Thanksgiving essentials. CEO Felisha Smith said many are in need. 100 turkeys and boxes with sides, along with other donated items, were given. Lorene Easter and Rena Carrillo were there to ensure their families had food for the holiday as they live on fixed incomes.
